Paula Odierno recently joined United Way, bringing a strong background in legal studies, housing advocacy, and community service to her role as Local Consumer Advocate for the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office CARD Division. Although new to the organization, she has quickly embraced its mission and collaborative spirit.

Paula earned her Bachelor of Arts in Legal and Community Studies from UMass Boston and an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies from Quincy College. She is both a HUD Certified Housing Counselor and a Certified Mediator, equipping her with the expertise to support individuals and families navigating complex housing and consumer issues.

She is an active member of the Greater Boston Board of Realtors, as well as the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and the Massachusetts Association of Realtors (MAR). Previously, Paula served as a Conservation Commissioner for the Town of Braintree and has been involved in numerous gubernatorial campaigns.

What Paula enjoys most about her work at United Way is the positive and supportive environment. She values being part of a team that is deeply committed to helping people access the resources and support they need.

Paula speaks Greek and takes pride in her heritage as the daughter of an immigrant. She is passionate about learning from and connecting with people from different cultures.

Outside of work, Paula enjoys reading, cooking, and traveling. She especially treasures time spent visiting her adult sons and their partners with her husband, Randy.

Her favorite inspiration comes from Robert Frost’s poem “The Road Less Traveled,” reflecting her appreciation for individuality and meaningful life choices.
