Coordinator of Community Connections of Brockton

Kasey Martin serves as the Coordinator of Community Connections of Brockton and has been part of United Way for five years, with a connection to the organization dating back to 2015. In her role, she is deeply committed to strengthening community partnerships, expanding access to resources, and creating meaningful opportunities for families to thrive.

Kasey holds an Associate of Science degree and a Bachelor of Science in Human Services with a concentration in Early Intervention. She is CPR and First Aid certified and holds Director I and II certifications through the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC).

She is an active member of the Youth Advisory Board and the Community Connections Advisory Board, and regularly participates in additional community boards to help ensure diverse voices are represented and heard.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Kasey remains dedicated to giving back. She frequently donates items and materials to families in need through local organizations such as Keeping Pace and the Family Center. She also supports small businesses by volunteering her creative skills, designing logos, business cards, and marketing materials. Kasey stays involved in her family’s school communities. Kasey is especially passionate about supporting the Brockton Animal Shelter, where she contributes donations and participates in community events.

Kasey’s academic achievements include graduating 7th in her high school class, earning her associate degree cum laude and her bachelor’s degree summa cum laude, and receiving the Ryan Orcutt Community Service Scholarship.

What Kasey enjoys most about her work is helping individuals and families access the resources they need while creating enriching opportunities through events, conferences, and community initiatives. She is especially passionate about building inclusive spaces where everyone has a voice.

A lifelong learner at heart, Kasey says that if she could, she would be a forever student. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, and expressing her creativity through painting, crocheting, and crafting custom pieces such as piñatas, backdrops, denim jackets, and home décor. She also enjoys window painting and exploring new creative outlets.

Kasey lives by the belief: “Be the change that you wish to see in the world,” and her personal motto, “Treat others how you wish to be treated - choose kindness always.”

Above all, Kasey values her family. She and her husband have been together since kindergarten, and she cherishes the life they have built together with their children.
