Jackeline Lopez has been a dedicated member of the United Way team since April 2024, serving as a School Liaison at the Family Resource Center. In her role, she works closely with families and schools to build strong relationships and help navigate complex systems, ensuring families receive the support they need to thrive.

Jackeline holds a GED and earned her Community Health Worker Certification from Quincy College in 2023. She is actively engaged in the community, serving as a member of the AHS Policy Council for Early Head Start, participating in the Education Team for Brockton’s Promise, and contributing to Brockton’s Father Engagement Leadership Team (FELT).

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Jackeline brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work. Having grown up in a low-income household and raised in Honduras, she understands firsthand the importance of access to support services. As a mother of three boys, she has also personally navigated school systems and the IEP process, which deepens her connection with the families she serves.

Jackeline is passionate about creating safe, welcoming spaces where families feel supported, understood, and empowered to advocate for themselves and their children. She finds the most fulfillment in guiding families, building trust, and helping them overcome challenges with confidence.

Outside of work, Jackeline enjoys exploring new restaurants with her family on Sunday mornings and spending intentional one-on-one time with each of her children.

Jackeline was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, raised in Honduras, and Spanish is her first language.

Jackie has a favorite quote from Luke 17:10 (NKJV) “So likewise you, when you have done all those things which you are commanded, say, ‘We are unprofitable servants. We have done what was our duty to do.’”
