Erik Bruder-Moore serves as the Program Director for the Family Resource Center and Community Connections of Brockton, where he has been part of United Way for the past year. In his role, Erik is dedicated to supporting families by connecting them with vital resources and providing guidance during times of need.

Erik attended the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where he built a strong foundation for his work in community and family services. He brings nearly 15 years of experience working with children and families—a passion that began early in life, inspired by his grandmother, who operated a childcare and preschool program for over 50 years.

What Erik values most about his work is the opportunity to help families navigate challenging situations and access the support they need to thrive. His commitment to service is rooted in both his professional experience and personal dedication to community care.

Outside of work, Erik enjoys staying active and spending time with loved ones. He can often be found playing basketball, relaxing at the beach with his fiancé and friends, or cheering on his favorite teams. A devoted Boston sports fan, Erik has had the unique experience of attending both the Boston Celtics’ 2008 and 2024 championship wins in person.
